Welcome to the quirky world of

A passion-led, anti-hustle guide to making art—reclaim your magic with creative habits that fit your busy life.

What's Kaiffeinated?

A cozy, coffee-fueled corner of the internet made by an artist for fellow artists. I wanted to build this platform because:

  1. Life is undeniably messy and unreasonably busy, and I just need a moment of creativity.
  2. I remain curious and have a habit of pursuing many artistic endeavors (like gel nails, diamond painting, etc), and wanted to consolidate all my notes in a thoughtful, and shareable way. And that it’s okay to have different interests.
  3. I’m looking for the cure for burnout and overwhelm. No quick fixes, just a deeper, more meaningful connection to your work.

In short, it’s a space for wild optimists who choose to create anyway.

Kaiffeinated champions a positive, everyday approach to self-expression so you can live your most creative life. Seriously. Playfully. Intentionally.

Growing with Intention

I aim to bring back the conscious commitment to creating in this era of disposability. So much is made today and forgotten tomorrow. Instead of shaping our vision for a throwaway, trend-driven culture, we slow down, practice with curiosity, and deepen our connection with our inner artist.

Growth requires patience, persistence and courage. It’s as much about seeking out opportunities as it is about continuous self-discovery. It’s about finding a personal life–art balance so you can make art that is authentically you.

Hello, I'm Kai

Hi, I’m Kai! I’m a Filipina artist, illustrator and graphic designer. I was born in Cebu City, Philippines and now soaking up the sun in  Los Angeles.  I am inspired by the interplay of optimism and optimization—the pursuit of a life that is both positive and intentional in doing. I love to explore the happy medium between traditional and digital.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me talking nonsense to my cats Mango and Pepper, or dancing to Queen as I take care of all my plants. My morning drink of choice is always coffee—sometimes black, sometimes with creamer. (Creature of habit, but with a little spice once in a while.)

For years, I allowed hustle culture to define my creative habits. If I wanted to succeed as an artist, I surely must niche down, stay up until 3am like everyone else and be active on more platforms than I can count. I was constantly online. I dreamt big, felt overwhelmed, and eventually shut down. As an artist with too many interests, I kept burning out, each time much worse than the last. I reached an insane level of burnout in 2023, resulting in an *embarrassingly* long hiatus—the longest and hopefully the last of its intensity. While periods of rest are important, I vowed never to let my creative well run dry.

I am on a mission to discover and share a healthy creative lifestyle.  Kaiffeinated is my commonplace to share the ebbs and flows of creative growth, where process matters as much as progress. I aim to empower artists with the biggest dreams to take it one intentional  step at a time.

TL;DR

The anti-hustle & anti-hurry approach
to creativity. What’s the rush, anyway?
