I’ve been following Nick Matej’s work on Dribbble for a while. His number and letterform studies for 36 Days of Type—a challenge to express your interpretation of type by designing a letter or number every day—are little masterpieces. Like this piece, he incorporates subtle textures, striking color hues and a wonderful balance in details.

I find inspiration from everything that’s just aesthetically pleasing to me. I love looking at fashion and branding photography, plants and even furniture. As for who, I would say Audrey Kawasaki made the biggest impact on me throughout my artistic journey.
